All of you… have helped make this one great year for myself & my family, with all your orders, support & business…
2018 sounds exciting ~ here are a few sneak peeks as to what is to come in the New Year.

Crown Wallpaper & Fabrics: ~

New wallcovering line from Thom Filicia

Abalone

“Distinctly Dynamic & Uniquely Personalized”

Like breaking open a geode, Abalone is full of surprising patterns and illuminating color. The use of Mylar adds a note of eye-catching sophistication, and the result is a subtly metallic masterpiece. Among the seven earthy pallets is Verde, with shiny silver and brilliant turquoise, and Lava, in fiery tones of reds, oranges and gold.

& new from Barclay Butera

Realm

Realm is reminiscent of fine silk tapestry from the Orient and provides an exotic flair.

Ok… let’s make a Christmas tree

Supply list:

  • Paper ~ any colour ~ any pattern
  • Scissors
  • Pencil
  • Cotton/thread spool

Using the pencil make 5 circles of various sizes i.e. 6”, 5”, 4”, 3” and 2”.
Cut out the circles from the paper sheet.
Fold each of these circles in half, 4 times.
Trim small amount of paper from the top point, which should be enough to allow a pencil to cross through.
Open up the paper and then refold in a concertina style.
Put the pencil in the spool so that it shall form the structure.
Pile the folded piece of paper circles over the pencil in such a way that the largest one goes to the bottom and smallest at the top to form the shape of a tree.
TIP: To prevent the layers from slipping down the pencil too far… try wrapping small bit of a sticky tape around the pencil.

Wishing you a happy & healthy Holiday Season ~ Merry Christmas to you all,

Jan & family
